Two teenagers have been charged within the assault on ex-Governor David Paterson and his step-son, in keeping with sources.
The juveniles turned themselves over to police alongside with their dad and mom on Saturday night time, lower than 24-hours after the assault on Paterson and his step-son, Anthony Chester Sliwa, because the pair walked their canine on the Higher East Aspect Friday.
The alleged assailants are going through second diploma assault expenses, police sources say.
A 3rd teen who spoke to cops together with the suspect was not charged as he didn’t assault the Sliwa or former governor, who’s blind.
Paterson, 70, and Sliwa, 20, encountered the group of teenagers climbing a fireplace escape on Second Avenue close to East 96th Road and have been attacked after they informed the youths to cease, the sources stated.
A rep for Paterson’s stated the group of suspects “had a previous interaction with [Paterson’s] stepson.”
