STOCKHOLM, Dec. 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Skanska has signed a contract to modernize Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins College in  Maryland, USA. The contract quantity of USD 104  M, about SEK  1.1 billion, can be included within the US order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2024.

The venture contains the renovation and thorough inside modernization of Milton S. Eisenhower Library, Johns Hopkins College’s flagship library in Baltimore, Maryland. The renovation contains reimagining the 182,000-SF, six-story library inbuilt 1964. The work contains all new finishes and MEP methods, a brand new speaking stair and skylight offering connectivity and lightweight to the 4, below-grade ranges. The constructing envelope contains the restoration of home windows and roofing. The venture can be LEED ® Gold and net-zero prepared.

Building started in July 2024 and is anticipated to be accomplished in October 2026.
