Tia Mowry seemingly hinted at a rift in her relationship with twin sister Tamera Mowry.
“Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce,” Tia — who break up from Cory Hardrict in 2022 after 14 years of marriage — says in a preview for her new We TV present “Tia Mowry: My Next Act” on Friday.
“It’s times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close and I could pick up the phone and call her,” she says, including, “that’s just not where we are right now.”
Nonetheless, a supply clarifies to Web page Six the remark was referring to bodily proximity between the sisters, not their relationship.
Tia at present lives in Los Angeles along with her son Cree, 13, and daughter Cairo, 6, whereas Tamera resides in Napa, Calif., along with her husband, Adam Housley, and their two kids.
Reps for each Tia and Tamera — who even have two youthful brothers Tahj and Tavior — didn’t instantly return Web page Six’s requests for remark.
Elsewhere within the preview, the “Sister, Sister” star, 46, says after her divorce she is “slowly learning” who she is.
“I came into this world with a twin and right after that I went into a 22-year relationship. So I have never been alone in my life. It has been quite a journey,” she explains.
Tia filed for divorce from Hardrict in in October 2022, citing irreconcilable variations.
“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she mentioned on Instagram on the time.
“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children,” she continued. “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
In November 2022, Tia mentioned specializing in her personal happiness led to her determination to separate from Hardrict, 44.
“When you start to really work on yourself, love yourself, know your value and know your worth, then all of a sudden, there’s this awakening.”
That 12 months, Tamera informed Us Weekly Tia was dealing with her divorce with “grace.”
“You have your ups [and] you have your downs — but she’s allowing her experience to change her. I feel [like she has changed] for the better,” she mentioned. “Things are not always gonna go as planned or we’re gonna have some plot twists. You [have to] learn from it, grow from it and do it with love. I feel like that is what she’s doing.”
The twins rose to fame on the hit present “Sister, Sister,” which aired from 1994 to 1999. The pair went on to star in their very own actuality collection “Tia & Tamera” from 2011 to 2013
